Hardy herbaceous perennial with white/pale pink flowers growing in whorls up the stems between the leaves.
Uses - The aerial parts can be used in herbal medicine to make teas and tinctures.
Growing conditions - Likes a moist but well drained soil in full sun or partial shade.
Height - Up to 5ft. Spread - Motherwort can spread quite vigorously by root rhizome. It may also be beneficial to remove the flowers before they set seed.
Benefits to wildlife - Bees and other pollinators will benefit from a colony of Motherwort.
