Uses - Leaves are lovely sliced and sprinkled onto a fruit salad or used to make a tea. Lemon balm has many medicinal uses.
Growing conditions - Likes a little bit of shade from the sun in hot climates but fine in full sun in Scotland. Grow in a well drained soil but keep moist until established, does not like to sit in water.
Height 60cm. Spread 90cm. Will spread rapidly by self seeding, hoe regularly to avoid it becoming invasive.
Flower colour - Small white flowers, leaves are green with golden variegation.
